A new round of LoCASE funding is open for applications from businesses across Kent, Medway and the wider South-East.

LoCASE helps match EU grant funding up to £10,000 for energy efficiency projects run by SMEs. It aims to support growth for businesses in low carbon, renewable energy and the environmental services sectors.

You can register for funding on the LoCASE 2 programme on their website.

Who is the LoCASE scheme run by?

LoCASE highlights low carbon opportunities to businesses and supports investment into green projects. Set up by the Sustainable Business Team at Kent County Council, LoCASE was devised to assist businesses across Kent and the South-East to transition into a low carbon economy.

What can I apply for?

You can apply for a number of types of funding your business, depending on where you are in your low carbon journey, the size and type of your business and the sector you operate in.

LoCASE can help with an independent, fully funded review of your business, whichever sector you’re in. Businesses can access EU funding and guidance which offers tangible benefits and return on investment. From financial savings to improved business reputation and a greater degree of new business opportunities, any organisation can benefit from the programme.

You can get in touch with the LoCASE team by emailing lowcarbon@kent.gov.uk or call 03000 415 111.
