Who should attend:

This qualification is for people who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide basic first aid to people in a range of first aid situations

Learning objectives:

At the end of the course delegates will be able to:

  • Assess an incident
  • Manage an unresponsive casualty
  • Undertake CPR and AED use
  • Enable the Recovery Position
  • Provide First Aid treatment in relation to Heart Attacks, Strokes, Choking, Epilepsy, Asthma, Diabetes, Anaphylaxis Shock, Head and spinal injuries, Chest injuries, wounds, bleeding, Fractures Sprains, strains, dislocations, burns, scalds, Poisoning and Eye injuriesAssessment:

Delegates will be required to participate and complete all assessment activities and complete small examination paper.
